This announcement, from an angel of the Lord, was heard by shepherds about 2000 years ago. It is a message to us as well, to rejoice, remember, and to seek Him!

This Sunday is the final HAWK meeting of the year:
Time: 12:00 noon to 2:30 PM (note time shift)

It'll be a great time for us to get together and work on our knitting projects for friends, relatives, and for those who are unable to help themselves in their time of need.

Here are 11 "Pointed Baby Hats" that Jenny made out of that Caron Big Cake that I mentioned last time. They have been donated to the Women's Shelter at Sacred Heart Community Service.

We are always making more super thick potholders for the CityTeam Kitchen that serves meals to the homeless every day. Ron is pictured here with our latest creations, just before his semi-weekly trip to CityTeam to deliver food donations from Trader Joe's.

I'm still piecing together granny squares for the baby blankets that are headed for Heritage Home. I'm hoping to get a big load of Christmas goodies and hand-knit warmth to the moms and babies there in the next few weeks.
