Ministerial Staff
Mark Hanson-Kahn seeks to follow Christ day-to-day. He is deeply committed to disciple-making and is a lifelong learner. Mark believes that following Christ is the most challenging call of any Christian, disciple-making is the most enduring form of ministry and that in our postmodern, hi-tech society, there is no end to learning.
From his experience, Mark has observed that to love those who are closest to us is usually more difficult than caring for strangers, consistent witness depends upon walking alongside Jesus, and deep community arises from unreserved investment in the people around us.
Mark enjoys serving the spiritual needs of others and in seeing them grow in the Gospel. He has an MDiv and PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Illinois. Mark’s previous ministry experience includes: Cardiff and London, UK; Singapore; Chicago and Atlanta; and Toronto, Canada.
Mark and his wife Andrea, a genetic counselor, live in West San Jose.
