Spring is just a few days away! My bulbs are peeking up out of the ground in my garden. I’m ready for warmer and longer days.  
 
Jenny and June made some baby socks from the Rye socks pattern.  With a few more baby or toddler hats and sweaters, we’ll be ready for another delivery to Heritage Home. J June provided a pattern handed-down from Steve’s mom for some comfy & padded slippers. I made 3 pairs of these cute slippers in less than a week. Katie has been wearing hers around the house as well as bed slippers. Let me know if you are interested in any of these patterns.
 
Last month, a few of us went to Stitches West in Santa Clara. It was really great fun being surrounded by so much yarn, fiber, and knitters. Eva, who has been further utilizing her knitting-in-the-round with double-pointed needles skills, completed over 20 pairs of “Knitted Knockers” which are soft comfortable knit prosthetic breasts for breast cancer survivors. She brought them to the Knitted Knockers booth to be part of their event where over 1,200 knitted and crocheted knockers were stuffed and ready for distribution.
